This page is dedicated to the loving memory of our pet and friend Pebbles. Pebbles life was taken from her way too soon. She is deeply missed by her family, JR, Bev, Chelsea & Nicole, Oreo and Buck. We all miss you.
Pebbles was a year old, when she became part of our family in April 2003. She was our April Fools Baby.
She was a mere ball of fur when she arrived. Her eyes just glistened and her pink tongue was going a mile a minute, spreading kisses everywhere.
The Bad News
Pebbles had not just gotten sick. She did not die of natural causes.
Pebbles life was deliberately taken by a stranger.
At some point, when the dogs were playing in the yard, someone had fed Pebbles food with anti-freeze.
For those who aren't aware, anti-freeze is highly poisonous to your dogs. Why anyone would have wanted to hurt an animal in such a cruel way is beyond any comprehension of mine.
We will always remember Pebbles fondly.
We hope that more people become aware of the dangers of "neighbors" innocently feeding your dogs.
Make sure that anything toxic or poisonous to animals be put completely out of reach of their noses and paws.
Please don't let what happened to Pebbles happen to your loved ones.
